Our Clinical Philosophy

We believe Australians should have access to professional, personalised healthcare. Our focus is supporting patients—particularly those with chronic conditions—where conventional treatments may not have provided sufficient results.⁶

Digital Patient Resource

As some prescribed treatments remain controlled substances, they must be obtained and held legally with a valid prescription from an authorised healthcare professional.

PLNTD provides a Digital Patient Card as a reference tool for your care plan.⁷

Note: The Digital Patient Card is provided for informational purposes only. Patients must comply with all state and territory laws, including the requirement to hold a current prescription and keep medication in its original pharmacy packaging.

Eligibility Information

Holistic treatments are a promising and rapidly evolving field, but not everyone is eligible.
ā€
Eligibility for specific therapeutic goods in Australia is governed by strict regulatory frameworks.

To be considered for a referral under these frameworks, patients generally must have a chronic condition (lasting more than three months) where conventional treatments have been unsuccessful or resulted in adverse effects.

Final eligibility is always determined by your treating doctor based on clinical suitability.⁵

Frequently Asked Questions

Discover how PLNTD can support your journey to improved quality of life.

What does a PLNTD consultation include?

Consultations include a telehealth appointment¹ with a registered healthcare professional. If deemed appropriate by your practitioner after a clinical assessment, you may receive a tailored management plan and access to patient resources.

Can I switch to PLNTD from my current healthcare provider?

We can facilitate a transition process to support continuity of care. Please be aware of regulatory requirements regarding the prescription of Schedule 4 and Schedule 8 medications; patients must not seek concurrent prescriptions for controlled substances from multiple clinics or practitioners.⁵

What is a Treatment Review?

A Treatment Review is a clinical process for assessing your ongoing needs between formal appointments. By completing an online clinical summary, your practitioner can review your progress and determine if a management plan update is clinically indicated.⁶

What support does PLNTD provide throughout my treatment?

We aim to provide consistent care through our clinical team. This includes access to nurse check-ins where clinically necessary and administrative support via your patient portal to assist with navigating your healthcare journey.

How does PLNTD combine conventional medicine with holistic practices?

Our practitioners aim to integrate conventional medical evidence with holistic considerations to support a patient’s overall health and wellbeing goals.

What is a digital patient card and how does it benefit me?

A digital patient card is an electronic record accessible via your patient portal. It can be used as a reference to assist in providing information about your ongoing clinical management to other healthcare providers.⁷

How can I find out if I'm eligible for PLNTD's natural medical treatments?

You can use our quick pre-screening survey to check your potential eligibility. Our clinical team will then conduct a formal review of your medical history and health status during an appointment.

How can I refer my patients to PLNTD?

Referring patients to PLNTD is a straightforward process. First, complete our secure online referral form with your and the patient's details. Include the patient's relevant medical history and reason for referral. Our team will review the referral and contact the patient to schedule a telehealth consultation. We'll assess the patient's suitability for natural medical treatments based on TGA guidelines. If treatment is clinically indicated, we aim to work collaboratively with the referring practitioner, providing regular updates on the patient’s progress.⁸
